I felt exhausted and brain tired after a whole week of intensive writing. Any inspiration was highly welcome. Two swans saw the lonely monk (me) on the bench and gave me company \u2013 but they could not help.<br \/>\nIn my backpack was a copy of Gopal Campu \u2013 a verse epos about the pastimes of Lord Krishna based on Sukadeva Goswami\u2019s Krishna Katha from the 10th Canto.<br \/>\nI can\u2019t describe to you how enlivened I became when I started to read Chapter 33 called \u201cFulfilment of all Desires\u201d where Krishna meets with his dearest devotees \u2013 the people of Vraja. I read on and on until the sun started to climb down on the western horizon \u2013 and then drove home singing all the time the Mahamantra and Krishna Krishna Krishna Krishna Krishna Krishna Krishna he\u2026<br \/>\nWhat was the reason for this unexpected rush of spiritual enthusiasm?<br \/>\nThe answer is: Krishna\u2019s help<br \/>\nSrila Prabhupada explained this very clearly in a lecture:<br \/>\n\u201cKrishna is within your heart. If you kindly continue to hear about Him, as you are doing, then Krishna will be very much pleased, \u2018Oh, this person is now interested in Me\u2026\u2019 Because nobody\u2019s interested in Krishna, so Krishna is also silent to them. But as soon as you become interested, oh, Krishna becomes very active, \u2018Oh, he\u2019s trying to do something. I shall help him.\u2019 (Srila Prabhupada, Los Angeles, May 19, 1972)<br \/>\nAnd in the Bhagavatam he enlightens us further:<br \/>\n\u201cMessages of the Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna, are nondifferent from Him. Whenever, therefore, offenseless hearing and glorification of God are undertaken, it is to be understood that Lord Krishna is present there in the form of transcendental sound, which is as powerful as the Lord personally.\u201d (Srimad Bhagavatam 1.2.17 purport)<br \/>\nPlease keep on hearing about Krishna personally \u2013 The Lord will become attentive to you and help you move on.
