Priya Ghatwai, Ropar (Punjab), India: There was a wonderful program and a wonderful class on the occasion of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur’s Appearance Day at the Chandigarh temple wherein the speaker happened to mention an extraordinary fact! Srila Bhaktisiddhanta had started a daily newspaper about Krsna! <\/p>\n
Someone remarked to Srila Bhaktisiddhanta, “We can understand a monthly publication but what are you going to write in a daily newspaper about Krsna? How will so much
\ncontent be generated on JUST Krishna !?” (A similar thought had been brewing in my own mind.)<\/p>\n
To this, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta replied that even printing a brand new newspaper every second would not suffice to appropriately describe and glorify Krsna. <\/p>\n
That Lord Ananta Sesa is chanting the glories of Krsna with millions and millions of mouths and has been doing so for a long time and has not yet come to the end of
\nthe story definitely corroborates with the production rate of 1 (ONE) ever fresh and youthful newspaper\/second.<\/p>\n
This particular universe we inhabit is engineered by Lord Brahma, and Lord Brahma is both created and inspired to further create by the Supreme Lord. Of course, almost all
\nearthlings are preoccupied with a small section of “our” universe and “our” universe is one in a million, billion, gazillion. All the universes put together comprise
\nthe material world which forms one quarter of the entire creation. Thus the broadest minded earthlings put together have a fairly narrow scope of vision and rather
\nlimited interests. Actually these limited interests appear quite overwhelmingly unlimited to most inhabitants of Planet Earth. These may include space exploration and earth-based anatomy, alternative
\nrenewable energy sources, high performance computing, the underlying physics of materials, history of various lands and their people, psychology, rice cultivation, alternative medicine, fashion,
\nsports, etc. Each field is a source of fascination and livelihood to thousands and thousands of people for which tomes and tomes are written, countless research papers may be
\npublished and look at the volume of content online! Even a measly town produces enough content for a daily newspaper – after all, there are always new babies born to
\ncelebrities, new world records set, new crimes committed, and new all-time-high summer temperatures! <\/p>\n
Of course, any new discovery is discovering a new facet of the creation and hence the creator ; Krsna is the ability in man – physical, intellectual, social; Krsna is
\nthe reservoir and source of all opulences and all awesomeness, AND He is the source of the creation and the created. Hence, it is actually the connection to Krsna which makes something newsworthy – but ignorance and\/or perversion of this fact, i.e., disconnection from Krsna, results in this information being neither blissful nor enlightening, and often most depressing. <\/p>\n
However, one can still marvel at the sheer volume of publishable content generated by this one planet alone! <\/p>\n
Then how much more “connected” information (and variety of it) there must be about Krishna – just going on iskcondesiretree’s Audio section is well indicative of that! His name, His form, His
\npastimes and activities, His entourage, His abode, the spiritual world which is 3\/4 of the creation, His incarnations, His energies, His instructions, His abilities,
