By holding Girir\u00e4ja for seven days He gave a specific message to all devotees.<br \/>\nHe wanted to say, \u201cDon\u2019t take any other shelter than Me&#8221;.<br \/>\n1) Don\u2019t take shelter in the demigods,<br \/>\n2) don\u2019t take shelter in the conventional teachers,<br \/>\n3) don\u2019t take shelter in the government<br \/>\n4) don\u2019t take shelter in your forefathers,<br \/>\n5) don\u2019t take shelter in your wealth,<br \/>\n6) don\u2019t take shelter in your own intelligence and<br \/>\n7) don\u2019t take shelter in your own strength.<br \/>\nTake shelter in Me!\u201d<br \/>\nI think this is a very important message for our personal<br \/>\nlives. Of course, we must use our knowledge and the<br \/>\nother things that Krishna has given to us. However, we must<br \/>\nuse them in a way that we remain subordinate to Krishna,<br \/>\ndependent on Krishna, calling out to Krishna for help and<br \/>\nremaining conscious of Krishna\u2019s place in our life during our practical dealings.
