Primary teacher:
\nAs a successful primary school teacher at SMIS you need a passion to inspire young minds and commitment to ensure that every child achieves their potential.<\/p>\n
As a primary school teacher, you’ll develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives. You are required to facilitate learning by establishing relationship with students, keeping your learning resources organised and creating a positive learning environment in the classroom.<\/p>\n
You’ll assess and record progress and prepare pupils to tests. You’ll link student’s knowledge to earlier learning and develop ways to encourage it further, challenging and inspiring pupils to help them deepen their knowledge and understanding.<\/p>\n
Art teacher:
\nThe candidate should have sufficient knowledge of drawing and painting techniques. He should be able to teach sketching from direct observation i.e.
\nLive drawing and still life and also encourage research through various resource material and have a general understanding of art history and aesthetics. <\/p>\n
