Sri Mayapur dhama, being the world headquarters of ISKCON, devotees from all over the world have a very special attraction for Mayapur dhama and have a cherished desire to serve and stay in Mayapur. Srila Prabhupada envisioned Mayapur as a budding spiritual city, a place of wonderful spiritual culture and education that would attract the people from allover the world to reside in Mayapur. <\/p>\n

ISKCON Mayapur is striving hard to make this vision a reality. As education to the children is one of the primary concerns for grihasta devotees, we have developed few educational institutions in Mayapur. Mayapur’s schools seek to provide the best in both academic and spiritual education in a safe, wholesome atmosphere.<\/p>\n

The Sri Mayapur International School (SMIS) accommodates boarding and day students from Mayapur and around the world, immersing youngsters in a blend of traditional, eternal spiritual values and contemporary academics, providing Cambridge University scholarship standards and diplomas. This unique set up is available only in Mayapur for devotees around the world to have their children nurtured in a spiritual atmosphere of holy dhama while simultaneously excelling in academics. <\/p>\n

Such an important educational institution which is a boon for many international devotees is facing financial crisis. I humbly request our devotee community around the world to extend financial help and their support by sending their children to SMIS School for the growth of the school. As Cambridge officers regularly visit the school for inspection and as more classrooms are needed to be constructed for getting affiliation, we are in urgent need of US$40,000 to build the classrooms and renovate the present ashram. At present we have ashram facility for boys and in the future, we have plans for providing ashram facility for girls also. We are trying to improve the quality of the ashram so that more students can be accommodated comfortably. <\/p>\n

As the school is undergoing a crucial period, any help is highly appreciated. <\/p>\n

I am confident that by your assistance in this time of need, before the new academic session begins by mid-August, we would have our ashram renovated and school takes a new look with more classrooms. <\/p>\n
