There was a flurry of excitement and joy as the panel of judges announced the All India Bhaktivedanta Swami Literary Quiz winners in Vrindavan yesterday. The Quiz organized by ISKCON Vrindavan, ISKCON Pune and the Bhaktivedanta Gurukula and International School was first of its kind in promoting ISKCON education amongst ISKCON children in India.<\/p>\n

The competition was open for children between 10-15 years old. The winners of the competition are:<\/p>\n

15 years old \u2013 Manjulali Manjari Biswas
\n Sri Mayapur Dham<\/p>\n

14 years old – Divya Kala
\n ISKCON Delhi<\/p>\n

13 years old – Aakriti Gupta
\n ISKCON Chandigarh<\/p>\n

12 years old – Devansh Pushkarna
\n ISKCON Ghaziabad<\/p>\n

11 years old – Goura Chand Das
\n ISKCON Ujjain<\/p>\n

10 years old – Tusti Panchasara
\n ISKCON Chowpatty\/Meera Road<\/p>\n

The prizes the fortunate souls will receive during kartik are:
\n1.A baby calf from the Bhaktivedanta Swami Goshalla
\n2.Free kartik parikrama with Deena Bandhu Prabhu
\n3.A set of Bhagavad Gita and Krishna Book from BBT Vrindavan for their school library

\n8.Maha Feast at Bhaktivedanta Gurukula and International School
\n9. An awards certificate <\/p>\n

Ananda Vrindavaneswari devi dasi, principal of the Bhaktivedanta Gurukula in Vrindavan, said \u201cOn behalf of the sponsors of this prestigious event, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the winners and a big thank you to the temple presidents and nama hatta leaders who coordinated the competition in their temples. The response was overwhelming and we feel very confident that our ISKCON children are studying Srila Prabhupada\u2019s books under the supervision of their congregational leaders. We would like to see this quiz become an annual event all over the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
