This week students learnt how to make vegetable cutlets also known as vegetable pattys. These classes are held in the temple room. One of the students questioned what the arti is all about. As they are coming every week, they are asking more and more questions about Krsna consciousness. We also explained to them about Kartik, how in India there is a festival of lights in this month and we worship baby Krsna, who was caught stealing butter and was tied by Mother yashoda. The whole pastime of lord Damodar was explained to them and they all took turns to offer Candles to Sri Damodar. After the offering we read the whole English translation of Damodar Astakam followed by a sumtous feast including the vegetable cutlet they helped cooked. Please find enclosed recipe for the Vegetable cutlet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and preaching in Orlando<\/p>\n<p>Vegetable cutlets are great blend of vegetables and spices.
