{"id":80068,"date":"2019-09-16T17:45:28","date_gmt":"2019-09-16T15:45:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dandavats.com\/?p=80068"},"modified":"2019-11-18T18:13:31","modified_gmt":"2019-11-18T17:13:31","slug":"manor-notice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dandavats.com\/?p=80068","title":{"rendered":"Manor Notice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/Wg1OlnU.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Reports to: \tThe Chair of Trustees [ISKCON Bhaktivedanta Manor]\nStart Date:\tMonday 13thJanuary 2020<br \/>\nHours:\t\t35 hours\/week<br \/>\nSalary:\t\t\u00a313000 + Allowances<br \/>\nLocation: \tBhaktivedanta Manor, Watford &#8211; WD25 8EZ, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>The Role:<\/p>\n<p>Inspire a vibrant temple, with its communities, congregation, worshipers, guests and visitors, in devotional culture as taught by Srila Prabhupada.<br \/>\nEnsure that the charity\u2019s objects as set out in its constitution are strictly followed, and that the charity\u2019s resources are used to further its charitable aims.<br \/>\nRepresent the temple and ISKCON in general, as a figurehead at functions, internal and external, as deemed appropriate.<br \/>\nLead by exemplary Krishna consciousness and the related morality.<br \/>\nEnsure a culture of care is prominent.<br \/>\nEngage the Managing Director to assist in achieving the stated objectives.<br \/>\nEstablish and uphold the spirit and ideals of the Vision 2020 document. <\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Chanting Hare Krishna mantra 16 rounds a day.<br \/>\nFollowing four regulative principles of ISKCON.<br \/>\nAttend morning programs (minimal 4 per week).<br \/>\nAttend all festivals and major events, focusing on the devotional content, character and teachings, and the care of volunteers and participants.<br \/>\nChair the temple council meetings, and other meetings as deemed appropriate.<br \/>\nInspire, maintain and establish devotional standards.<br \/>\nSupport the development of policies to sustain and protect the devotional culture.<br \/>\nEnsure the recognized standards of deity worship are catalogued and maintained. This includes the main altar, temple room, and Srila Prabhupada rooms.<br \/>\nAttend to the spiritual needs and behaviour of all staff, employees, residents, community and congregation.<br \/>\nEnsure the temple remains and prospers as a center of excellence for Vaisnava education.<br \/>\nEnsure that a functional and effective mentorship system thrives.
