Along the way, Their Lordships and the devotees received a description of each section of the Haveli including the multi-purpose function hall, prasad (dining) hall, foyer, classrooms, kitchen, cr\u00e8che, entrance and courtyard. <br \/>\nThe main hall includes a stage and lighting for festivals, visiting speakers, Sunday programs and plays, as well as youth clubs, weddings and other samskaras (rites of passage). <br \/>\nVascroft were the main contractors, and many other companies were also involved.  \u201cWe called the campaign for this project, \u2018A roof over our heads\u2019,\u201d said Gauri das, \u201cbecause it\u2019s never been about expansion \u2013 it\u2019s been about accommodating the things that we do in the right amount of space.\u201d <br \/>\nA soft opening for the Haveli will take place in the New Year, with a Kirtan Mela (festival) to celebrate.
