\nGet down to the root, yes we are the cause
\nBlame it on God – please take a pause
\nThe shop and the office are now closed down
\nThis is reality all over the town
\nPeople are keeping 2 metres away
\nSuspicions have risen – there’s little to say
\nResponsibility lies in our very own self
\nPointing the finger should be put on the shelf
\nNature lashing out, she’s just had enough
\nKarma does strike for all the bad stuff
\nWhen will we awaken to the beck and call
\nPay attention to what makes us fall
\nWhat can be done for this predicament
\nPerhaps make *respect* something permanent
\nI wonder what lesson we will learn from this
\nWhen the storm blows over will we change or miss
\nWhen will we feel for the sick and those who’ve passed
\nHow long will such sentiments really last
\nWe can live in the gloom declaring our doom
\nOr shine like the sun or a full moon
\nMake that change that you ought to be
