Mukunda das: Almviks Gard is an eco-village and farm project started in 1981. It is near Jarna, approximately an hour by car from Stockholm. ISKCON has had cows at Almvik for nearly 40 years. Today we have 12 cows and oxen. We seek the right person to shoulder the responsibility for our goshala as well as the development of cow protection.<\/p>\n
The person we seek (with or without family):<\/p>\n
\u2022 Is good with animals and loves cows<\/p>\n
\u2022 Is industrious<\/p>\n
\u2022 Is competent with agriculture\/ animal husbandry or a strong desire to
\nlearn these<\/p>\n
\u2022 Wants to work with oxen<\/p>\n
\u2022 Likes to engage others and has team spirit<\/p>\n
\u2022 Can generate ideas how to raise funds through cow protection and
\nagriculture<\/p>\n
\u2022 Is good at planning and organizing<\/p>\n
\u2022 Is interested in participating in temple programs and is practicing
\nsadhana bhakti<\/p>\n
