I hope this will find you in good health and happiness.<\/p>\n
It is based on my deep love for Bharat Varsa and its inhabitants and my profound admiration and respect towards Your Excellency that I dare to write you to beg you to please carefully read my letter, meditate on it and take the right course of action for the benefit of the entire Bharat Varsa and the whole world. It is with a straw between my teeth that I write this letter to you.<\/p>\n
Lord Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead says,<\/p>\n
\u0101-brahma-bhuvan\u0101l lok\u0101\u1e25<\/p>\n
punar \u0101vartino ‘rjuna<\/p>\n
m\u0101m upetya tu kaunteya<\/p>\n
punar janma na vidyate<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom the highest planet in the material world down to the lowest, all are places of misery wherein repeated birth and death take place. But one who attains to My abode, O son of Kunt\u012b, never takes birth again.\u201d (Bhagavad Gita 8.16)<\/p>\n
In this verse, Lord Krishna clearly says that in the material world, all the planets, from the highest to the lowest, are places of misery wherein, disease, old age and death take place. Even if we can go to the highest planet, Brahmaloka, Lord Krishna says that the same miseries are there, i.e. birth, disease, old age and death. What to speak of lower planets like Moon, Mars, Venus, Saturn etc. All are places of misery according to the Supreme authority, Lord Sri Krishna. In this way, the attempt to go to another planet within the material world is a fruitless task to say the least, because the same miseries as disease, old age and death are present in all the planets of the material world.<\/p>\n
However, there is a planet that we should endeavour to reach. Lord Krishna describes it as,<\/p>\n
na tad bh\u0101sayate s\u016bryo<\/p>\n
na \u015ba\u015b\u0101\u1e45ko na p\u0101vaka\u1e25<\/p>\n
yad gatv\u0101 na nivartante<\/p>\n
tad dh\u0101ma parama\u1e41 mama<\/p>\n
That supreme abode of Mine is not illumined by the sun or moon, nor by \ufb01re or electricity. Those who reach it never return to this material world. (Bhagavad-Gita 15.6)<\/p>\n
We can not reach this planet by mechanical means. The process to reach this planet is quite easy. The process is given by Lord Sri Krishna himself in the Bhagavad-Gita<\/p>\n
anta-k\u0101le ca m\u0101m eva<\/p>\n
smaran muktv\u0101 kalevaram<\/p>\n
ya\u1e25 pray\u0101ti sa mad-bh\u0101va\u1e41<\/p>\n
y\u0101ti n\u0101sty atra sam\u015baya\u1e25<\/p>\n
And whoever, at the end of his life, quits his body remembering Me alone at once attains My nature. Of this, there is no doubt. (Bhagavad-Gita 8.5)<\/p>\n
To easily remember Lord Sri Krishna at the last breath there is a process to be followed, just as to go to the nearest planet there is a process that one has to follow. We can not expect that we can go to the Supreme planet without following a process.<\/p>\n
My humble suggestion would be to utilize this energy, money and manpower necessary to go to another planet, to produce more grains, fruits, vegetables and milk; that are all very essential for a healthy life. Then alongside, to promote the culture taught in the Bhagavad-Gita by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna. That will make the inhabitants of Bharat Varsa happy and also benefit the entire world. You will be always remembered as a leader that has brought great happiness to all.<\/p>\n
