Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada

In 1936, Srila Prabhupada was in Bombay when he composed and offered two historic tributes to his spiritual master, His Divine Grace Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur: this poem and an essay entitled “The Universal Teacher”. Both were published in The Harmonist on the occasion of the vyasapuja celebration of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur’s appearance. The poem delighted Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur, who appreciated the sixth stanza in particular, noting that it captured the essence of his preaching work: defeating impersonalism.

Srila Prabhupada sometimes mentioned this for example in his lecture on 10th December
1975 Hydrabad

1. Adore, adore ye all
The happy day.
Blessed than heaven,
Sweeter than May,
When he appeared at Puri
The holy place,
My Lord and Master
His Divine Grace.

2.
