Pu\u1e63\u1e6da K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a: Next question, \u015ar\u012bla Prabhup\u0101da. \u201cDo you envision a different role for the Vedic culture in the Western countries, where the influence of other great religions has been felt for centuries?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u015ar\u012bla Prabhup\u0101da: No. There is no \u201cdifferent role.\u201d God is one. God cannot be two. <\/p>\n
As K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a states in the Bhagavad-g\u012bt\u0101 [7.7], matta\u1e25 paratara\u1e41 n\u0101nyat ki\u00f1cid asti dhana\u00f1jaya: \u201cThere is no authority superior to Me.\u201d That is God. Now people have to understand that K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a is God. <\/p>\n
There is no \u201cdifferent role\u201d for the Vedic culture. The role is the same worldwide. Five thousand years ago, K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a said, \u201cI am the supreme authority. There is no authority superior to Me.\u201d He is still so. <\/p>\n
Therefore we are simply attempting to introduce K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a. Previously nobody attempted to introduce the supreme authority, K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a, all over the world. <\/p>\n
We are just trying to introduce K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a, following the orders of \u015ar\u012b Caitanya Mah\u0101prabhu, who appeared five hundred years ago. He is K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a, and He wanted this K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a consciousness to be spread all over the world:<\/p>\n

\nsarvatra prac\u0101ra haibe mora n\u0101ma <\/p>\n
\u201cIn every town and village throughout the world,\u201d said Lord Caitanya, \u201cthe chanting of My holy name will be heard.\u201d K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a is not just for India. <\/p>\n
He is for everyone, because He is God. In Bhagavad-g\u012bt\u0101 He affirms, aha\u1e41 b\u012bja-prada\u1e25 pit\u0101: \u201cI am the seed-giving father of all living entities\u201d \u2013 not just the living entities in the human society, but also all other living entities, like the aquatics, the insects, the plants, the birds, and the beasts. <\/p>\n
Everything is there in the Vedic culture, but this culture of K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a consciousness, which is summarized in Bhagavad-g\u012bt\u0101 As It Is, had not been preached properly. (!!!)<\/p>\n
Everyone had interpreted Bhagavad-g\u012bt\u0101 in his own way, to satisfy his own whims. We are just trying for the first time to present Bhagavad-g\u012bt\u0101 as it is, and it is becoming effective. So this is not a \u201cdifferent role\u201d for the Vedic culture. It is the actual role.<\/p>\n
Nobody had tried for it; therefore K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a had been unknown in the Western countries. But even though we have been attempting to introduce Him for only a few years, still, because it is reality, K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a consciousness is being accepted. <\/p>\n
So it is not a new role for the Vedic culture. The role is already there \u2013 to preach K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a consciousness. That is Caitanya Mah\u0101prabhu\u2019s vision. He says especially to people born in India,<\/p>\n
bh\u0101rata-bh\u016bmite manu\u1e63ya-janma haila y\u0101ra
\njanma s\u0101rthaka kari\u2019 kara para-upak\u0101ra <\/p>\n
\u201cAnyone who has taken his birth as a human being in India, Bh\u0101rata-var\u1e63a, should make his life successful and work for the upliftment of the whole world.\u201d Indians are meant for this business \u2013 for the upliftment of the whole world \u2013 because all over the world people are unaware of K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a. So anyone who is born in India should attempt to broadcast the message of Bhagavad-g\u012bt\u0101 and K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a. That is the order of Caitanya Mah\u0101prabhu. This is not a new role for the Vedic culture. The role is already there. <\/p>\n
Five hundred years ago, Caitanya Mah\u0101prabhu spoke of it. But all the various swamis and yogis who came here \u2013 they never introduced K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Now it is being done, and people are accepting, naturally. This is the K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a consciousness movement. <\/p>\n
So if everyone joins \u2013 either Indian or non-Indian \u2013 in this movement, there will be one religion and there will be peace. Peace will prevail. This is the only way.<\/p>\n

\u201cA person in full consciousness of Me, knowing Me to be the ultimate beneficiary of all sacrifices and austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets and demigods, and the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities, attains peace from the pangs of material miseries.\u201d <\/p>\n
This is the way to attain \u015b\u0101nti, peace. Understand K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a \u2013 that He is the supreme enjoyer, the supreme proprietor, and the supreme friend of everyone. \u201cAccept K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a as your friend.
