From Gurudas: Although some photographs were done in New York, when the Swami came to San Francisco, I became the first official photographer when Swamiji asked me to render a portrait for the McMillan’s version of his Bhagavad Gita. I soon learned the art of photographing the Swami’s many wonderful and fast changing expressions, and serving him simultaneously as he empowered me and gave me more direction and things to do.<\/p>\n
