\nSB Introduction: Lord \u015ar\u012b Caitanya Mah\u0101prabhu, the great apostle of love of God and the father of the congregational chanting of the holy name of the Lord, advented Himself at \u015ar\u012bdh\u0101ma M\u0101y\u0101pura, a quarter in the city of Navadv\u012bpa in Bengal, on the Ph\u0101lgun\u012b P\u016br\u1e47im\u0101 evening in the year 1407 \u015aak\u0101bda (corresponding to February 1486 by the Christian calendar). His father, \u015ar\u012b Jagann\u0101tha Mi\u015bra, a learned br\u0101hma\u1e47a from the district of Sylhet, came to Navadv\u012bpa as a student because at that time Navadv\u012bpa was considered to be the center of education and culture. He domiciled on the banks of the Ganges after marrying \u015ar\u012bmat\u012b \u015aac\u012bdev\u012b, a daughter of \u015ar\u012bla N\u012bl\u0101mbara Cakravart\u012b, the great learned scholar of Navadv\u012bpa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
