Prabhup\u0101da: So pratik\u0101ram and apratik\u0101ram. Whatever we have manufactured, pratik\u0101ram, counteraction, that will be also failure if K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a does not sanction it. That is realized by Prahl\u0101da Mah\u0101r\u0101ja. He says “My dear Lord,” Hira\u1e47yaka\u015bipu, that “people have manufactured so many pratik\u0101ram, counteraction.” But tanu-bh\u1e5bt\u0101m, “Those who have accepted this material body, they are simply manufacturing things to counteract dangers. But even though they have all this counteracting machine or counteracting agents, still, without Your sanction, this counteracting machine or agent will not be fruitful.” So similarly, Arjuna is being protected by K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a. So even though Arjuna is not well-equipped, apratik\u0101ram, still he will be saved. Because K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a is there. T\u0101vad vibho tanu-bh\u1e5bt\u0101\u1e41 tvad-upek\u1e63it\u0101n\u0101m (SB 7.9.19). And even one is well-equipped and if K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a does not like to save him, he’ll not be saved. Always mind this. Rak\u1e63e k\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a mare ke, mare k\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a rak\u1e63e ke. This is ordinary, that if K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a wants to kill you, nobody can save you. And if K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a wants to save you, nobody can kill you. This is the position.<\/p>\n

Therefore real pratik\u0101ram is K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a. Real pratik\u0101ram is K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a, counteractive. So better we take shelter of K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a as K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a says, sarva-dharm\u0101n parityajya m\u0101m eka\u1e41 \u015bara\u1e47a\u1e41 vraja (BG 18.66). You must always know that no counteraction will be beneficial for us unless we are protected by K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a. So therefore our business is fully surrender to K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a and seek His protection. K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a says, “Yes,” aha\u1e41 tv\u0101\u1e41 sarva-p\u0101pebhyo mok\u1e63ayi\u1e63y\u0101mi, “I shall give you protection.” This is Bhagavad-g\u012bt\u0101 philosophy. We have to believe on the assertion of K\u1e5b\u1e63\u1e47a that “He is prepared to give me all protection, provided I have fully surrendered unto His lotus feet.”<\/p>\n
