The director of our Almaty Society requested the General Prosecutor's office to investigate the issue. In doing so the Aktobe prosecutor withdrew the ruling on my deportation.

The Omon riot police threw the personal belongings of the Hindus into the mud and snow, while loading the furniture on the back of trucks.

Also today our documents were recieved at 10 Downing Street to be presented to Tony Blair. He has agreed to bring up the issue when he meets Nazarbayev today. Tomorrow there will be demonstrations at the London Stock Exchange when Nazarbayev visits there in the morning.

ISKCON devotees attended that conference, and our case was brought to the attention of the whole convention by scholars and other delegates from the UK and the USA–who pointed out that religious freedom principles were being violated by the hosts of the conference– the Kazakh government.
