Mahaprabhu dasa: I am happy to announce the 2014 ISKCON Communications Seminar to be held in Prabhupadadesh, Italy from 5 to 8 May.
The topics to be discussed are very interesting and important both for ISKCON and for Communications. The Seminar will attempt at being an International Communications Seminar and we will try to get several international particpants and as many European participants as possible.
The topics and activities include:
- How to understand and explain controversial statements in Srila Prabhupada’s books both from an internal and external perspective.
- ISKCON and Sexual Orientation. How is ISKCON dealing with this issue?
- Workshops on Public Speaking, Media Training, Social Media, Photo Journalism.
- Reports from all the countries represented at the Seminar/Conference.
- How to make statements on behalf of ISKCON?
- Strategic Planning for the world, regions, countries and temples.
- Outing to Venice
