Here in ISKCON Kathwada it’s about to complete one year of temple opening and this was our first Gaura Purnima, more than 500 people visited temple on the occasion of ‘Festival of Holi’. This was surprise for us to having such huge crowd on Gaura Purnima. This time Gaura Purnima fall on the Holiday so all nearly residents visited temple to have Darshan of Lord Jagannath and Sri Sri Gaura Nitai.
At 4pm all together in Tempe hall and Kirtan begin. Then after temple senior devotees begin Abhishek of Utsava Vigraha. All devotees enjoyed an ecstatic Kirtan performed by HG Vicharu Prabhuji and HG Raivata Prabhuji.
Temple Vice President HG Kalanath Chaitanya prabhuji addressed all to come in ground for Holika Dahan, For the first time ISKCON, to attract local public burned Holika.
After that HG Jambudvipa Prabhuji performed Sandhya arati and all began dancing in group. At the end all was served by delicious Prasadam.
The Lord is so merciful that we experienced this year that we preached very less but he arranged Gaurpurnima on Holi (Public Holiday) and all come together.
