by Administrator
In the early 1980s, my father was a doctor working with the United Nations. He had some friends who were visiting the United States, and while there, they met a devotee in the airport who gave them a BTG. They were Buddists, so they weren’t very interested, but they knew that my father was a...

Indradyumna Swami: The other day we went on pilgrimage to Batesvar, the maternal home of Nanda Maharaja, where he grew up before marrying Yasoda-mayi and moving to Gokul. Books bide their time before helping

by Administrator
I am reading sankirtan stories regularly. They are always inspiring. One day I received an email containing a link to “Vijay Prabhu’s Special Class on Book Distribution.” Before going out to distribute books, I listened to the lecture. A great lecture. By Rashi Singh Nurturing our faith helps ease the inevitable suffering of life in the material world. I’m groggy. It’s early. I’m way too tired to go to work today. Sankirtana Hero Story

by Administrator
You know how Sanskrit names sometimes sound funny in our languages? So this Gautama Rishi went on sankirtana with a friend called Akula Das. Akula means "shark" in Russian. Not "sounds like" but literally means shark. For our English speakers, internet says that Akula class attack submarines make lion's share of Soviet/Russia's nuclear submarine force. "Akula" is tough sounding name, for sure.

Memories of Sridhar Swami

by Administrator
Hare KrishnaBy Giriraj Swami

Sridhar Swami: “When I leave, we can be together in more significant ways.” He said that love in separation was actually stronger. And we do experience that when we are with people we love, we may take them for granted but that when they are gone, we realize how valuable their association was and how much we loved and still love them. And the feelings become more intense than when we were with them.
