The ISKCON Amara service is a new service to be launched on the 12th of May 2018 as a National Service in the UK under the direction of the GBC National Office. The service will be launched through a free seminar for the ISKCON community which will seek to demystify end of life choices in medical care, cremation as well as legal & financial planning. At the annual meeting of the global BBT in June, HH Jayadvaita Swami resigned as a trustee of the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust. Since 1988, he has served as a trustee of the original BBT Trust, or as a director of the BBT International, or both (The two organizations work together). The overarching theme of the ILS 2018 will be “keep the wheels moving” an expression Srila Prabhupada took from the Indian Railway. He noted, “it is the business of every employee, whether a train driver, a fireman or a clerk in the office, to do their bit so that the wheels never stop.
