This book is truly a jewel in helping devotees learn the art of taking care of Vaishnavas during their times of need.
Sangita Devi Dasi is the founder of the international Vaishnavas CARE project and has been working on this initiative for over 25 years. During this time, she wrote “The Final Journey” which has become a well-respected and authoritative text on caring form devotees at the time of their passing.
Her life experience and teachings in this field have provided incredible support for devotees to help fellow Vaishnavas go through the process of leaving their body in a caring way, not only accounting for their physical, spiritual and emotional needs, but also the needs of their relatives as well. Her book explains, in detail, the process of taking care of a dying patient. Some of the topics it covers include: Hospice and Palliative Care, Experiencing a Terminal Illness, Spiritual Care in Hospice, Making a Living Will, What is Holistic Care, and much more!
