A Seminar titled “Bhagavadgita, Science and Spritual Life” had been done in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia on Friday 29 June, 2012. This seminar held by Sri Nilacala Dhama Jakarta in cooperation with the Indonesian Hindu Council (PHDI) and the Hindu Association of University of Indonesia (KMHD UI).
His Holiness Srimat Subhag Swami Maharaj was the keynote speaker accompanied by two Indonesian speakers Wayan Mirta Astawa and Komang Santhi Arsa. The participants come from various groups namely: Hindu leaders, students, health practitioners, military personnels, and other groups. There are also some non Hindu participants joint the seminar. Besides the seminar, our Krishna Temple also sold books to the audience. More than 100 books were sold and the participants felt happy because there was also a book signing session with His Holiness.
There are some basics and principles questions were asked by the audience such as: How by chanting Mahamantra we can connect to God/Krishna, the meaning of reincarnation, the role of Bhagavadgita among the other vedic scriptures and How we can go back to Godhead. His Holiness has answered all questions using the analogy and detail explanation. The participants look happy and contentful about the program and the explanations from His Holiness. The seminar program was closed with prasadam seva.
