Dear Devotees of Iskcon, The release date of “Hey Krishna,” the stereoscopic 3-D animated film from Reliance Entertainment and based on Srila Prabhupada’s Krishna book is only a few days away. Already, there is intense media buzz, some crediting Srila Prabhupada for popularizing Krishna’s pastimes, and promotion. If you are in a city where the film is exhibited beginning August 3rd, please inform your congregation and friends through any means possible. A good showing at the box office will encourage Reliance to fund the next one about Krishna – a proposal that is already on their desks. The producer, Ashish A.K., is a staunch Vaisnava who understands the imperative of popularizing Krishna consciousness. He deserves our enthusiastic support in this massive endeavor. Thank you.
