1) On-site Bhakti-sastri course
21 June – 11 November, 2023
Srila Prabhupada envisioned the Bhakti-sastri level of study as a training for brahmanas. This systematically structured course enhances the philosophical knowledge of the practitioner as well as his/her ability to cultivate vaisnava qualities and apply the sastric knowledge in real life. Devotees learn to see the world from a sastric perspective. Their faith is enhanced, their conviction becomes stronger and they are able to convey the message of Krsna consciousness to others more effectively. Devotees are encouraged to develop the spirit of service and cooperation via practical engagements throughout the course.

2) On-site Bhakti-sadacara course
15 July – 11 November, 2023
Bhakti-sadacara is a pre-Bhakti-sastri course suited for those who have relatively recently taken to the practice of Krsna consciousness and would like to gain basic knowledge and training in bhakti-yoga. It is also beneficial for those who did not get any opportunity for systematic training. The course gives a formal understanding of the Gaudiya Vaisnava philosophy and enables one to assimilate the practices of Krsna consciousness step by step. It includes practical workshops, karatala and mrdanga lessons and discussions concerning vaisnava values and qualities. A major part of the time is spent studying Srila Prabhupada Lilamrta. Additionally, this course proves to be a stepping stone for Bhakti-sastri.

3) Online Bhakti-vaibhava, Canto 5
24 July – 28 October, 2023
Srila Prabhupada envisioned four levels of study of his books—Bhakti-sastri, Bhakti-vaibhava, Bhakti-vedanta and Bhakti-sarvabhauma. The VIHE is endeavoring to establish these degrees and thus provide an opportunity for higher studies in Krsna conscious philosophy to interested devotees. The Bhakti-vaibhava Course covers the study of the first six cantos of Srimad-bhagavatam as well as additional subjects helpful to the understanding of Srimad-bhagavatam, such as Sanskrt pronunciation and meters, the 10 topics of Srimad-bhagavatam, the 6 Vedic philosophies, Dasa Mula Tattva, Cosmology and Tattva-sandarbha. This semester includes a seminar on Vedic Cosmology.

4) Online Bhakti-pravesa course
6 September – 9 November, 2023
This course is designed for those who have very recently come in contact with Krsna Consciousness and wish to understand its philosophy and begin practicing it in their lives. One learns about oneself, Krsna, Lord Caitanya, Srila Prabhupada, the path of bhakti and its goal, as well as the lifestyle of a devotee. The course includes a summary study of Krsna Book, the pastimes of Lord Krsna.
