Out of the sixty odd girls and boys who had completed a 3 day Smart Kids course(Uttama Balakam) here in Kerala, India, conducted last summer, a group of 12 girls of age 8 to 15 got facinated to Srila Prabhupada’s teachings and the way of life enacted by His Divine Grace.
Many of these girls are chanting now minimum 4 malas; left nonveg, wear Kanthimala and did Damodar Arati at homes involving their home members. As they have also substantially increased their performance in examns and in general personality traits, their homes are now favourable to Hare Krishna Miovement’s role in Competency Development.The girls relishingly went through a book called “Nimai” in their own language, and just got rid of mundane cinematic heros from their imaginations as they put it. Also, recently they managed a small book & paraphernalia stall for 6 days in three shifts using computerised selling and account keeping -devotional cum real-life skills!
All of them want to go and see specific places in Vrindavan, like Radhakund and, of course Barsana! Tickets for Six of the senior girls have now been booked to Mathura Junction by the mercy of a person captivated by their dance himself making him chant 4 malas and read Bhagavat Gita As It Is.
