I am excited to share with you the wonderful achievements and activities of ISKCON Russian speaking Yatra for the month of May.
Maha Harinam with Indradyumna Maharaja: We started the month with a vibrant Maha Harinam featuring Indradyumna Maharaja. Our matajis dressed in colorful sarees, adding to the festive atmosphere and spreading joy through their devotional attire.
Cooking Feast for Sunday LOVE Feast: Preparing the feast for our Sunday program remains our most cherished and regular service. The devotion and love poured into this service bring immense joy to all involved.
Weekly Online Namahatta: Weekly Online Namahatta led by Shayam Sangati mataji and Sarvatma prabhu: Our online Namahatta sessions every week have been a unifying force, bringing devotees together midweek, regardless of their circumstances. Devotees meet to share realizations and inspire each other to grow in their devotion.
Second Mentorship Group for Matajis: Due to high demand, we established a second mentorship group for matajis with Jayant Radhika Mataji, providing more support, guidance and spiritual growth.
Initiation of Mataji Naimisharanja: We are delighted to announce the initiation of Mataji Naimisharanja, who is now Ananda Gita Chintamani Dasi. Let’s congratulate her and wish her all the best on her Bhakti path to Goloka!
All-Day Kirtan at the Manor: One Sunday, we participated in an all-day Kirtan at the Manor with HH BB Govinda Maharaja, HH Indradyumna Maharaja, and HH Shiwarama Swami Maharaja. We danced in ecstasy until 11 pm, experiencing indescribable bliss.
Morning Japa Sessions for Matajis: Every morning, dear matajis chant together, strengthening the connections within the group and enhancing the spiritual practices.
Harinama along the Thames: Nikita Prabhu organized an ecstatic Harinama along the Thames with Gaura Sundara Prabhu, Govinda Prabhu, and Ruben Prabhu, followed by a delightful outdoor picnic for the devotees.
Salted Bread Lecture by Patri Prabhu: We attended an inspiring lecture by Patri Prabhu, where he shared touching stories of USSR devotees’ struggles and triumphs in their devotion to Krishna and Srila Prabhupada.
Bhakti Sastri Course led by Vradjendra Kishor prabhu: Our Bhakti Sastri course continues with in-depth studies of the Bhagavad Gita, enriching the students’ understanding and application of its teachings.
Mentorship for Matajis: In our regular mentorship meetings, matajis continued reading “Ocean of the Holy Name” by Sacinandana Maharaj and discussed techniques of chanting and overcoming challenges in concentration.
Sunday Program: We had some enriching discussions about Krishna’s love through readings from the Antya Lila, deepening our Bhakti realizations and sharing a very delicious feast.
Prabhu Mentorship Program: Our prabhu mentorship program included a discussion on the qualities of a mentor based on lectures by Radhanath Swami, providing valuable insights for personal growth.
Nama Hatha with Patri Prabhu hosted by Vikrotia Mataji and Ruslan prabhu: We hosted a Nama Hatha session with Patri Prabhu, learning about building deep connections within our yatra and enjoying delicious prasadam together.
These activities reflect our commitment to fostering spiritual growth, community unity, and dedication to Krishna consciousness. We are grateful for your continued support and guidance.
