We are pleased to share the highlights and achievements of the ISKCON Russian-speaking Yatra in London the month of October, filled with spiritually uplifting events and dedicated devotional activities:
1. Kirtan Mela Organized by Vasanta Prabhu
⢠The Kirtan Mela brought together devotees for an intensive session of kirtan, allowing everyone to immerse in the transcendental vibration of the holy names and deepen their spiritual experiences. Thanks to Vasanta Prabhu for his initiative and inspiring coordination.
2. Namahatta Gathering
⢠The Namahatta event was beautifully organized with kirtan, bhajans, the recitation of the Damodarastakam, and a discourse on Srimad-Bhagavatam led by Jagannath Suta Prabhu. The evening concluded with prasadam, fostering a deep sense of community and shared devotion among the devotees.
3. Sunday Program for Kartika Month
⢠Shyama Sangati Mataji organized a special Sunday program in honor of Kartika month. Devotees took part in Kartika Katha, kirtan, the offering of lamps, and shared prasadam, creating a memorable celebration of the sacred month and strengthening the mood of devotion.
4. Bhagavad-Gita Verses Reading by Chaitanya Charanani Mataji
⢠To maintain the spirit of Kartika, Chaitanya Charanani Mataji initiated daily readings of Bhagavad-Gita verses in a dedicated group. This practice is bringing devotees together in the mood of reflection and dedication during this auspicious month.
5. Bhakti Steps Online Sessions
⢠The Bhakti Steps program continued with online sessions that provide structured learning and association, allowing devotees to engage in Bhakti studies from the comfort of their homes. These sessions are a wonderful platform for spiritual growth and connection.
6. Harinama in Camden Town
⢠Led by Nikita Prabhu, the Harinama in Camden Town brought the holy names into the heart of London, spreading joy and spiritual awareness to the public. This Harinama was particularly special as it included disciples of ÅrÄ«la PrabhupÄda, who joined us, adding a deeper sense of connection to our spiritual lineage and enhancing the experience with their presence and dedication.
7. Sunday Program for Kartika Month
⢠Organized jointly by Shyama Sangati Mataji and Sarvatma Prabhu, this Sunday program in honor of the Kartika month brought devotees together for Kartika Katha, kirtan, the offering of lamps, and shared prasadam. Their combined efforts created a memorable and heartfelt celebration, deepening our collective dedication and immersion in the spiritual practices of Kartika.
8. Govardhan Puja Sunday Program
⢠The Govardhan Puja celebration included a joyful abhisheka of Giriraja, a ceremonial circumambulation of Govardhan Hill, and a grand offering of various dishes prepared by devotees as a tribute to Govardhan. This program honored Krishnaâs pastime of lifting Govardhan Hill and filled the atmosphere with devotion, gratitude, and joy as we celebrated His divine protection and blessings.
9. Welcoming a New Member to Our Vaishnava Family
⢠We are also thrilled to announce the arrival of a newborn in our community! Anna Mataji and Yogapati Prabhu have been blessed with a baby boy, Radha Govinda Junior. We are overjoyed to welcome him into our Vaishnava family and wish the family abundant blessings and Krishnaâs grace as they begin this beautiful new chapter together.
Each of these additional details reflects the depth of our Yatraâs dedication and the collective efforts that made these events meaningful and spiritually enriching for all participants.
