ISKCON Kurukshetra celebrated a significant milestone as 100 devotees successfully completed the Bhakti Shastri course and are now set to embark on the transformative journey of the Bhakti Vaibhav course. The event also witnessed the enrolment of 80 new students in the latest Bhakti Shastri batch, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for studying Srila Prabhupada’s teachings in depth.
The Course Coordinator, HG Mohan Gaurchandra Das, expressed his delight, stating – “It is heartwarming to see such an overwhelming interest in the study of Srila Prabhupada’s books. The Bhakti Shastri course not only helps devotees dive deeper into philosophical wisdom but also transforms their lives by bringing them closer to our founder-acharya, Srila Prabhupada.”
Srila Prabhupada envisioned Kurukshetra as a global hub for propagating the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, where people from all over the world could come to understand its timeless wisdom. ISKCON Kurukshetra continues to uphold this vision by providing a vibrant platform for devotees to immerse themselves in the study of Srila Prabhupada’s books and realise the profound spiritual principles of the Gita.
Among the graduates, Deen Palak Das shared his heartfelt testimony: “I had been waiting for years to systematically study Srila Prabhupada’s books. Though I tried reading on my own earlier, the structured association provided by the course was life-changing. Just through the association of devotees, I got to learn Vaishnav sadachar and many leadership principles. I am deeply grateful to the ISKCON Kurukshetra management and the Board of Examinations for this opportunity, and I am excited to begin the Bhakti Vaibhav course.”
HH Guru Prasad Swami Maharaj (ISKCON GBC) conveyed his heartfelt blessings via an audio message, applauding the graduates for their commitment and wishing them success in their upcoming Bhakti Vaibhava Course. The graduates received blessings from the distinguished presence of HH Bhakti Ashray Vaishnav Swami Maharaj, who inspired everyone with their words, followed by Bhakti Shastri certificate distribution by HG Sakshi Gopal Das (ISKCON Kurukshetra Temple President) to the course graduates.
