In this section of ÅrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam, we reflect on Daká¹£aâs behavior, especially in verse 29, where his negligence and hard-heartedness become very clear. When pride and ego cover the heart, one loses proper vision and the ability to show respect, even in the most serious situations.
As practitioners, we are reminded to stay soft-hearted, humble, and careful in our dealings with others. Devotional life is meant to purify the heart, not harden it.
A simple reminder to guard against pride and remain gentle and respectful on the path of bhakti.
