As the World Holy Name Week officially ended, the devotees in Bali, Indonesia still had more chanting to do to. 24 hours worth of it! Bali’s annual 24 Hour Kirtan was held on the weekend on 28-29 September at the Radha Madhava temple in the Gianyar regency in Bali. Bali has five temples and we rotate this annual event amongst them. This year we got the opportunity to celebrate the holy name together at this beautifully ornate temple. The colorfully carved wooden altar and the delicate stone work on the exterior and interior of the temple hall matched perfectly with the surrounding fields of rice paddies. The real ornament of the event, however, were the devotees! The Gaura Hari Youth (youth of the Radha Madhava temple) did a fantastic job in organising the event. Our GBC, Ramai Swami started off the kirtan followed by our special guests from Vrndavana; Akincana Krishna and Gopala prabhus. We would like to thank them from the bottom of our hearts for being able to share this reforming moment with us all. And of course, we humbly invite everyone to join in next year as well!
