Taking advantage of a Panamanian National Holiday, on December 1st Iskcon devotees held a 5 hour kirtan organized by Bhakta Jair. The kirtan started with our Temple President Shanto Maharaj leading the kirtan followed by a list of more than 10 kirtan leaders. At present there is a huge revolution in our kirtans in Panama as we have a group of dynamic enthusiatic young kids ages 5 to 12 who have began leading kirtans. Days before, each one could be seen practicing their tunes getting ready for the event. Although participants were scant, in no way did it damage the eagerness of everyone and the mood from beginning to end was sweet and intimate while everyone chanted, surrendering themselves to the Holy Names of Krishna.
