We are very pleased to announce January 14th, 2014 as the launching date for the latest updated version of Vrindavan.tv – This will be the official live website of ISKCON Vrindavan and is its latest version in our four years of operation . This new site will be more technologically advanced and user-friendly. We are confident you will find the layout of this new edition to be not only very beautifully done but also a great opportunity for you to share in the seva and devotional activities in Vrindavan from anywhere in the world.
There will be five channels on this new site.
The first channel will be for the temple hall. This is were you can share in the aratis and darshan of Their Lordships Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai, Sri Sri Krsna-Balarama and Sri Sri Radha-Shyamasundara as well as Srila Prabhupada’s temple Vyasasana from. You can share in all of the Kirtanas and activities on a daily basis. Also you can enjoy the wonderful 24-hour Kirtana that is ongoing by wonderful devotees from around the world who have taken up this blissful service here in Vrindavan.
The second channel will be for all lectures and programs from our beautiful Balarama Hall. Special seminars as well as Hindi Srimad Bhagavatam classes and various other special programs will be available throughout the year.
A third channel will be focused on Srila Prabhupada’s Samadhi and Srila Prabhupada’s House. This will allow you to share in the Samadhi aratis and kirtanas as well as regularly taking darshan of His Divine Grace in this most special atmosphere. The viewing of Srila Prabhupada’s House will include Bhagavad-gita and other classes in the intimate atmosphere of his residence here in Vrindavan. This atmosphere is very sweet and only here in Vrindavan.
The fourth channel will be dedicated to festivals and special events. ISKCON Vrindavan is world-famous for its festivals and other devotional programs. This channel will allow you to share in these events.
The fifth channel will feature recordings of morning programs and Srimad Bhagavatam lectures, which are also available in the archives.
This site will also have an advanced chat feature, which will help you share your Spiritual enthusiasm with other fellow devotees.
There will be sections and sub-sections to the website that will be easily available. There is a Home page that will navigate you around the site. There will be an About Us section that will explain the site in detail. There will be a Channels section where you can switch from one area of ISKCON Vrindavan to another with great ease. There will be an Events/Calendar section to keep you up-to-date. There will be a News and Announcements section also to keep you updated with the latest , and a Contact Us section where you will be able to easily get in touch with devotees who can answer your questions and concerns.
A detailed report of monthly expenses will be provided and an easy Donation plan will be available. In addition to this, there will be available means to perform some personal devotional service to the site while you are in Vrindavan dham .
