Euro Bus Tour Organizer
For all of those looking for a good time this summer, why not party with Krishna!? The requirements are simple: bring a service attitude, a bead-bag, and some sunscreen, because we will be bringing the sankirtan party all over southern Europe’s streets and beaches!
The ISKCON Youth Ministry is expanding its wings and flying away this summer back to the European shores of the warm, friendly Mediterranean countries of Spain, Italy, and Croatia for the second annual European Bus Tour. The tour starts in Villa Vrndavan’s Sravanam Kirtanam festival on July 10th, and finishes on Aug 11th after spending time at spiritual retreats, doing adventure activities, harinams, meeting senior devotees, having sports days, and service at temples.
The ministry, led by Youth Minister Manorama das (a European himself) and wife Jaya Sri Radhe dasi have set up their base in Alachua, Florida, USA and been running youth bus tours every summer for more than 18 years. The tours have expanded to Mexico, as well as separate tours for younger youth starting at age 12 – 15. The Euro Bus Tour is the newest addition to the growing family.
The Youth Ministry’s goals are to re-connect with ISKCON youth and give them a “bhakta” program that fits their individual needs. On tour the group will be learning the art and taste for engaging in the six loving exchanges of devotees and traveling to new places in good association, spreading Krishna consciousness in a fun and dynamic way. Its such a simple investment for our ISKCON future, but its power runs deep!
