by Administrator / 12 Jul 2014 / Published in Message Board  /

Dear Maharajas and Devotees,

On the auspicious “Vyasa Purnima” day we bring to your pleasure notice about the launching of an exclusive website on Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura in Telugu (South Indian Language). This website, which is dedicated to His Divine Grace Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, is a humble attempt to spread the glories of Srila Thakura on His disappearance centennial. Though we formally launched the website on 27th June 2014, the actual date of Srila Thakura’s centennial disappearance day, it took some time for technical optimization of the site. Now that it is ready for your pleasure viewing, please visit the site at www.bhaktivinodathakura.info

The purpose of this website is to bring Srila Thakura’s teachings closer to the heart of Telugu speaking devotees through their mother tongue. Accordingly, we made a sincere attempt to present some of  Srila Thakura’s divine songs in Telugu language, with wonderful classical Carnatic music, for the pleasure of devotees all over the world. We have a desire that at least 100 songs of Srila Thakura are translated into Telugu language and made available through this website. We gave many details of Srila Thakura’s divine life in the form of articles for the pleasure reading. We also gave a detailed list of Srila Thakura’s transcendental literary work. His teachings in “ Jaiva Dharma”, which is the reservoir of all Gaudiya Vaishnava teachings, are given in the form of questions and answers in audio form (Srila Bhaktivinoda Upadesham). Some of His songs are given as video presentation for a lovely feast to ears and eyes. We hope that this website, with all kirtans, audio messages, videos, reading matter, will become one of the favourite destinations in web search by devotees.

In the service of Hari, Guru and Vaishnava,

Vaishnavanghri Sevaka Das, Ph.D.
