We, the disciples of H H Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj are writing this letter to devotees around the world through Dandavats forum seeking your assistance.
H H Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj, the elderly sannyasi in ISKCON entered the eternal pastimes of the Supreme Lord in Jan 2010. For close to 40 years since joining the movement, His Holiness traveled around the world 15 times preaching the message of Krishna consciousness. He is especially famous for spreading the transcendental message of Srimad Bhagavatam and glorifying the king of scriptures all over the world. There are hundreds and thousands of people who were touched and transformed over the years by the lectures and personal association of Srila Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj. We know every one of them treasure those lectures and personal association of Maharaj, and we kindly request you to help us share them with the devotees all over the world.
Ever since Maharaj left this mortal world in 2010, we are trying to collect the audio/video lectures and consolidate them in one place for the benefit of current and future generations. Over the years many devotees around the world have recorded his audio and video lectures, conversations etc and they are lying discreetly in different parts of the world. Now we are in the process of digitizing his lectures, bhajans etc and organizing them. We humbly appeal to the devotees around the world to share these audio/video tapes of H H Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj with us. We will digitize them and return the original back to you safely, or we can give you a local contact with whom you can work out a way to share them.
Maharaj has also taken lots of notes of his deep study of Bhagavatam in different diaries. If any of you have it with you, we request you to scan it or photocopy it and share it with us. Or if you can send the original diary, we can photocopy it and return the original to you. This will be of great help to us.
In essence we are looking for the following items:
1. Audio tapes
2. Video tapes (VHS, Mini DV or any other formats)
3. Diaries (original or copies)
4. Photos (hard copy or soft copy)
5. Any other memorabilia’s other than the above 4 categories.
