On 21st February 2015 a life Patron meet named ”Ajeevan Sadasya Sammelan” was held under the directions of HG Krishna Kripa Das, President of ISCKON Patna. The program started with an ecstatic kirtan by HG Rambhadra Prabhu. On the 50th Anniversary of ISKCON, ISKCON Patna, want to offer a gorgeous temple as a symbol of service to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. This new temple will spread the glory Bihar.
On the 50th anniversary of ISKCON several activities will be carried out including ‘Food For Life’ which is a dedicated program to feed needy and hungry children all over India and help fight malnutrition. ISKCON is the only organization that feeds 30lakh children every day in schools at a mid-day meal program. Not only in India, but throughout the globe ISKCON emerges victorious to reach out to all that are in need and suffering from hunger.
ISKCON Patna is planning to start regular Harinam Kirtan in nearby areas, which will be very pleasing and makes everyone ecstatic and dance. Also ISKCON is planning to construct a BhaktiVedanta Gate so that people can remember the contribution of Srila Pabhupada.
The program took an auspicious turn with the presence of HG Radha Jivan Das, International Director of Fundraising for the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium (TOVP). His majestic speech was successful to inspire each and everyone. However, in his address to the assembled people he informed everyone that ISKCON is building a Sri Sri Radha Banke Bihari Temple, which costs around Rs.51 crores.
He said that it is of utmost importance to take up spirituality for everyone. He told that the goal of human life is to surrender to the lotus feet of Krishna and not to fuel the fire of our material senses. He also talked about Real satisfaction that comes from pleasure in working for others benefit. Finally he touched everyone’s heart saying that “I come to Bihar, because Bihar is my birthplace, that’s why I want to contribute something to ISKCON Patna”.
Prior to his speech followed a mesmerizing and enchanting cultural program performed by artists from Vrindavan, they depicted the performed pastimes of Lord Krishna and left everyone speechless. Afterwards everyone was assembled for the aarti and celebrated holi festival with flowers and love for each other.
Finally the blissful program came to an end with prasadam for everyone.
