World Alliance of Religion’s Peace Dialogue was conducted on Monday 23/03/2015 in Pannasastra University of Cambodia Siem Reap Campus. It was organized by HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restorations of Light) Non-Profit Organization which is basis in Korea. They had been corporate with “Life and Hope Association” a NGO basis in Siem Reap. The theme of this Dialogue was ‘Bring the Unity of Religion’.
The meeting was attended by different faiths as Buddhism represented by a number of monks from monks from pagoda in Siem Reap, some Moslem, Baha’I Community, and ISKCON Cambodia represented by HG Kala dasa Vanacari Prabhu. HG is Srila Prabhupada disciple from Canada who has been preaching in Cambodia since 2013.
There are some others speaker from different faith. Kala Prabhu gave a speech on about 20 minutes. Prabhuji started by explaining that every living entity in this world is looking for peace, even Creator want peace, and the problem coming when we identify ourselves as body, forgetting our dharma as the soul, which is service to the Lord. We have forgotten to serve the Supreme that is why we are suffering. Kala Prabhu also explains that religion should not be a cause of war. Then Kala Prabhu finally introduces our practice to all attending about chanting Mahamantra to connect with the Lord to get peace.
