2015 Prabhupad Book distribution marathon at ISKCON chowpatty began with H.H.Radhanath swami giving an inaugural talk on Sunday Nov 22nd. In his class, Radhanath swami spoke on how books are heritage of our entire Gaudiya sampradaya and Srila Prabhupad understanding the heart of his spiritual master brought out a revolution through his book distribution program. Maharaj also told that this was 500th year of Lord Chaitanya visiting Vrindavan and 50th year of Srila Prabhupad leaving Vrindavan. Prabhupad left Vrindavan to give Vrindavan to all of us. Finally Maharaj requested all to come together n cooperatively make this book distribution effort a big success. H.H. Radhanath swami’s talk on inaugurating book marathon is available below.
Mega book distribution drive was conducted on 2 special days (22nd Dec Gita jayanti and 7th dec appearance day of H.H.Radhanath swami) to boost overall book scores. Book scores on this day was 10 times more the score on other days.
A get together program will be conducted in brahmachari Ashram on 1st week Jan, where all 4 sankirtan teams will share their ecstatic experiences & stories of book distribution. HH Radhanath swami will also join this program n felicitate all book distributors.
Similar get together programs will be conducted in various congregation groups.
All these book distribution experiences and stories from brahmacharis as well as congregation will be compiled in a book form and presented to Srila Prabhupad and Radhanath Maharaj. This book will then be made available online for devotees to read.
