Neeti Sharma: Today I went to the temple ,after darshan we were leaving for Harinama , I had books in my hand and we were just leaving ,there I saw a young western lady in a saree rushing towards me .
When I saw her ,I thought I think I’ve seen her before but anyway she shouted
Hari bol ,please stop! And I stopped!
She : Hare Krsna are you Neeti?
Me: Yes.
She : O Lord ,I have been searching for you , Do you remember you gave me Srila Prabhupada’s books two years ago .
I thought for a moment I said Yes, I believe so , when I saw you I thought I’d seen you before so since you are telling me then I believe you .
She: I came to India now after two years later when you gave me book in the year 2014. I went to Vrindavan,Mathura and I came to Delhi Temple just in hope to find you.
I have been praying to Lord Krsna to be able to find you and Krsna has answered my prayers when I’ve finally met you Neeti.
You gave me books and it just changed my life completely , I am not the same girl who I was .
I gaveup eating meat,no smoking,drinking and illicit connections.
I went back to Russia and I joined the devotees there
I am forever indebted to you .
Me: I was stunned , silent and patiently listening to her .
She further continued : When in 2014 I came in this temple ,I was not ready to take the books because I had no faith in God ,I was frustated with my life and when I was here in the temple ,you approched me and when I wasn’t ready to take Srila Prabhupada’s books ,you tricked me very cleverly saying Oh these are yoga books and you can practise yoga at home ( Ha! )
But there you did because you had so much compassion for me.
All I want to say you is Thank you so much, you have saved me.
Me: I was wondering if I am dreaming or what . But I was happy !
I laughed ha , I told her it is not me ,It is Gauranga and Srila Prabhupada who are full of mercy to all of us. Just continue chanting regularly and follow the rules and there is all sucess.
She embraced me and kissed my checks , took pictures with me and my email id and phone number.
Anyway the bottom line is that we should distribute books .
“I want that all my students,shall very vigorously try for this book distribution .
These books are so potent that anyone who reads them is sure to become Krishna conscious,so it is a very valuable service to distribute our books “-Srila Prabhupada!
