As ISKCON celebrates the World Holy Name Festival (28th July to 14th August), ISKCON centres around the world have planned events to flood the world with the Holy Names of the Lord and try to accomplish the mission of Srila Prabhupada of spreading Harinama throughout the world.
ISKCON-London will celebrate with a wonderful line-up of events as part of ISKCON’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.
Kirtans with HG Agnidev dasa
On Saturday 30th July there will be kirtan with HG Agnidev dasa (as part of our 6 Hour Kirtan starting from 1pm) from 5pm to 7:30pm in the Temple Room, at ISKCON-London.
Saturday night Maha Harinama with HG Agnidev dasa
On Saturday 30th July HG Agnideva dasa will join the Maha Harinama from 7:30pm to 9:30pm starting at ISKCON-London.
“Kirtan on the Thames” Boat Event
On Sunday 31st July the UK community will come together for a day of chanting, dancing and feasting on a cruise around the famous landmarks of London. Special guests include BB Govinda Swami, Kadamba Kanana Swami, Agnidev dasa, Deena Bandhu dasa, and Mahatma dasa, local kirtaneers Radha Londonisvara dasa, and Jahnavi Harrison. The event will take place from 12pm to 6pm and will be broadcast live.
ISKCON50 Srila Prabhupada Katha Series
On Monday 1st August there will be a special class by HG Deena Bandhu dasa on ‘Memories of Srila Prabhupada’ from 6pm to 7pm in the Temple Room, at ISKCON-London.
ISKCON50 Holy Name Series
On Monday 1st August there will be bhajans with HG Agnidev dasa from 7pm to 9:30pm in the Temple Room, at ISKCON-London.
All events (except Saturday night Maha Harinama) will be broadcast live on Mayapur TV (London channel).
Srila Prabhupada affirms: “The holy name of the Lord and the Lord Himself are identical, and one who chants the holy name of the Lord in an offenseless manner can at once realize that the Lord is present before him.”
ISKCON-London invites everyone to come together to celebrate the holy names.
