New ISKCON Temple emerges after catastrophic earthquake destroyed the old one and the Deities in Christchurch, New Zealand (Album with photos)
Kalasamvara Das: I just returned from the beautiful city Christchurch. I went to see how progress is going on towards opening the new temple March 3rd-4th-5th 2017 and have the association of the dedicated devotees who have been through so much after the old temple and the Deities were destroyed by a magnitude 7.1 earthquake in 2010 which also destroyed most of the city.
As you can see by the photos everything is going on nicely by the hard work of Ramanuja Prabhu the temple president who is working hard daily helping the building of and overseeing all aspects of the construction.
