CSR Project Manager required urgently for ISKCON India

The CSR Coordination Committee of ISKCON India is looking to urgently hire a full-time CSR Project Manager with immediate effect.
We are looking for someone who is a devotee of ISKCON or is familiar with or sympathetic to ISKCON, and has experience in working on CSR projects for a corporate or an NGO. The role is based out of ISKCON Juhu in Mumbai. The selected candidate may be expected to travel to other places in India. The candidate should have excellent communication skills with impeccable written and spoken English.

JOB
PURPOSE:

 

Manages CSR partnership development and
communication with Corporates, and monitors the execution and reporting of projects
of Jivadoya Foundation, the charitable and social wing of ISKCON, across India

 

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·        
Create
five-year organizational development plans and strategic action plans for
Jivadoya Foundation, to prioritise focus areas and identify mid-term goals

·        
Conduct
market research to identify Corporates with whom Jivadoya Foundation/ISKCON
can develop strategic partnerships

·        
Partnership
management which includes creation of proposals aligned to the CSR needs of
Corporates, presenting them to Corporate Boards, agreeing strategic partnerships
and alliances, and managing long-term relationships

·        
Ongoing
monitoring of existing CSR projects, including gathering reports from project
managers, monitoring outcomes and deliverables, and reporting back to
Corporates to ensure compliance with legal regulations, and delivery of contractual
promises made

·        
Creation,
maintaining and monitoring of internal processes and supporting documents
that enable our branches to easily apply for CSR funding, execute projects
and report back to meet legal compliance and contractual responsibilities

 

·        
Create
and maintain a system for coordinating CSR related approaches to different
corporates by ISKCON branches throughout India

 

·        
Design
and organize training programs for ISKCON branches on CSR best practices,
strategic partnerships, proposal submission, project execution and reporting
for compliance

 

·        
Establishing,
documentation, dissemination of best practices in the CSR arena as well as
success stories from within our organization

 

·        
Creation
of a knowledge base to support the dissemination of best practices

 

·        
Manage
creatives and marketing collateral including brochures, trust reports, annual
reports, website development, newsletters and any other material that may be
required

 

·        
Manage
public relations and external communication, including media management and
relationships with Government departments or ministries

·        
Event
management including the organizing of conferences, seminars and fund-raising
events by ISKCON

·        
Auditing
of any existing project to ensure compliance and contractual accountability,
on a case-by-case basis, should the need arise

 

·        
Attend
industry seminars and conferences to network and share knowledge and
expertise with other practitioners and Subject Matter Experts

 

·        
Manage
volunteers and other employees of ISKCON

 

·        
Coordinate
and support all activities of the CSR Coordination Committee by arranging
meetings, sending out agendas and documentation, taking minutes and following
up on actions assigned

 

·        
Any
other responsibility assigned as and when needed.

 

 

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

 

·        
A graduate with CSR experience
either in a Corporate setting or with an NGO

·        
Excellent skills in writing,
oral communication and presentation are a must

·        
Track record in either managing
CSR objectives of a corporate or executing CSR projects for an NGO would be
necessary

·        
Knowledge of general practices
in the CSR area needs to be demonstrated

·        
Experience in at least one areas
of CSR would be preferred: education, medical care, rural development or
skills development

·        
Experience in handling internal
and external communications would be an advantage

·        
Minimum 3 years’ experience

·        
With exceptional candidates, we
can consider providing training in any of the above areas where they do not
have sufficient exposure or experience

Reporting

 

The position reports to the Chair of the CSR Coordination Committee of the
Jivadoya Foundation or his named representative

 

Eligibility/Other
Requirements

 

The position is required to obtain a satisfactory reference
check and medical check. It is essential that occupants to these roles have
advanced computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,
possess a driver’s license and are willing to work non-routine hours and to
travel regularly.

 

Salary

 

Salary of INR 600,000 per annum. Expenses incurred on
the job will be reimbursed.

 

The candidate needs to have the right to live and work
in India.
