Diwali Celebrations at Hindu Council of Australia (Album with photos)
Bhakta Dasa: Last week Bhakti and I had the opportunity to attend the Diwali Celebrations organized by BAPS and the Hindu Council of Australia, of which ISKCON is a member, at the beautiful Federal Parliament House in Canberra. It was a wonderful event, many Ministers attended as Parliament was sitting at that time. The Hon. Bill Shorten the Opposition Leader also attended as did His Excellency the Indian High Commissioner. We got to meet many of the dignitaries.
