The countdown is officially on! North America’s largest Ratha-Yatra is right around the corner and devotees at ISKCON Toronto are in a frenzy as we prepare for over 35,000 people who are expected to attend the festival on July 14-15, 2007!
Posters are being put up around the city, flyers and cards are being handed out, advertisements screaming our slogan of “Feed Your Soul” are already up within the city’s subway system, on local TV stations, in newspapers and more!

Our festival features a parade right through the heart of downtown Toronto on Yonge Street, coursing it’s way through the most busy areas of the city! All festival-goers then make their way to Centre Island, right off the Toronto shoreline, to the festival site.
Some highlights of the festivities on Centre Island will be: a sumptuous prasadam feast, two stages of non-stop entertainment, a session with our VIPs called, “Srila Prabhupada World Memories”, two question-and-answer areas for philosophical discourse, a chanting/japa booth, astrology, “Indian Bazaar” style marketplace and more!
A warm invitation goes out to all devotees to attend! Devotees are welcome to stay at the temple (it may be a bit austere so please bring sleeping bags) and, with the temple located right in the heart of the city, there are plenty of hotels around to choose from.
