It has been almost six years since the Christchurch Hare Krishna Centre was destroyed in the 2011 earthquakes.
Finally, after years of uncertainty, the construction of the new building is almost complete. The roof is on, the walls are clad and the fit-out of the interior has begun. Best of all, our deities, Sri Sri Nitai Gaurachandra have decided to return to accept the service of a whole new generation of devotees.
This will be a once-in-a- lifetime opportunity to experience the installation of the deities and inaugurate the opening of the new centre.
