I forever bow down
at the lotus feet
of Back To Godhead
Srila Prabhupada’s matchless gift
to the world
Born of his oceanic compassion
to lead us out
of our dark night
Into the uplifting light of Godhead
You are the great fruit
of his full surrender
To the feet of his perfect master
To spread the universal religion
of divine love
To every town and village
broadcasting the glories of Mahaprabhu
The harbinger of His Golden Age
to give new hope
to suffering mankind
Proclaiming the great Bhagavata revolution
You spread the clarion call
of divine service
And awaken all of us lost souls
asleep in Maya’s embrace
To our real life of blissful service
to Sri Krishna’s all-inclusive pleasure
Spreading far and wide
the torchlight of true knowledge
You dissipate the ignorance
covering our hearts
You open our eyes
to the infinite beauty
Of Sri Govinda’s love
for all who simply want Him
O ever-fresh fountain
of immortal nectar
Churned from the ocean
of Vedic truth
Like a great Ganges flow of mercy
pouring out from Srila Prabhupada’s
pure heart and empowered lips
You overflood the desert of this world
with the soothing shower
of pure bhakti
Descending from Braja’s
unending festival of love.
