Yamuna Boat Festival 2017! (Album with photos)
Deena Bandhu Das: We started off with a 100 country flag procession from the Temple to the ghat! Then we have a very special Radha Shyamasundar for festivals and Sri Sri Radha Govinda, personal Deities of HH Radha Govinda, mounted Their gorgeous Swan Boat. Going to the other side of the Yamuna, the devotees serenaded Them. Then as the boat began to move away, streams of colored flower petals came flowing down the Yamuna! Chappan Bhoga was offered and aratika! Then there was a wonderful fireworks display over Yamuna! At the end, we released 501 dipas into the Yamuna and in the night the river became alive with hundreds of golden lamps flowing in her stream!
