The Mayapur Festival Committee is planning to celebrate Gaura Purnima 2008 – the 522nd Anniversary of Appearance Day of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, in a grand way.
Festival committee has come up with a colorful Gaura Purnima Festival brochure. The brochure contains two pages – One has all the festival details and the other has the sponsorship details.

If you plan to visit Mayapur for Gaura Purnima 2008 festival, please write for guest house accommodation booking (as Guest House registration is already going on from 1st November) to MGHB@pamho.net.
During this festival, devotees will relish free prasadam provided by our festival sponsors. A yatra, a temple, a congregation or an individual devotee may sponsor prasadam for an entire day during the festival.
As the Festival Committee no longer charges festival fees, all aspects of the festival’s success depends upon devotees from all over the world donating generously. When a devotee donates for the festival in Sri Dham Mayapur, he serves the Vaisnava world in the most holy dham and thus receives a thousand times more devotional benefit than for a donation given elsewhere.

There will be an offering of 522 lamps to Lord Gauranga on the auspicious occasion of His 522nd Appearance Day Anniversary. You can make an offering for only $25. You can take the prasadam lamp to your home. If you are unable to come to Mayapur for the festival, you can still perform your offering to Lord Gauranga in His birthplace, Sri Mayapur
